30% of total seat capacity in each discipline will be admitted from JEXPO-2011 qualified student and having allotment letter after counseling organized by WBSCTE
20% of total seat capacity in each discipline will be admitted from the merit list of POLY – 40 and allotment letter after counseling of POLY – 40 organized by WBSCTE
Additional 20% seats will be admitted through VOCLET with allotment letter after counseling organized by WBSCTE . In all above category 50% marks in madhyamik or equivalent is required and 45% marks for SC/ST candidate.
Direct admission of remaining 50% of total seat capacity will be admitted from students qualified in madhyamik or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Age Limit:
21 years for general category students with one year relaxation (if required and prayed for) and 24 years for SC/ST candidates. The age will be considered as on 01/01/2011.
Terms & Conditions:
Payment of fees must be made within specified period before start of each semester.
Admission fees / Programme fees is neither refundable nor transferable under any circumstances.
Students will have to pay semester fees even in case of discontinuation of the course.
The institute reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations.

Fair practices need to be observed in the class rooms, laboratories, workshops and examination centres.
Falsification of documents or the supply of false information will attract disciplinary action.
Authority will expel any student or students if found to be responsible for ragging.
Ragging is punishable offenceunder law.
All students will have to follow some procedures i.e submission of affidavit to stop the ragging.
Students found to be involved in any illegal practices will be expelled.
Authority will protect the students from the ragging by:
Anti-ragging committee.
Anti-ragging squad.
Anti-ragging mentoring cells.
Anti-ragging monitoring cell.
All students must co-operate to stop ragging.
